E(level): Ag 108m has been found to decay 8.5% of the time via a two-step isomeric cascade consisting of a 30.4-keV M4 transition followed by a 79.4-keV E1 transition. The remaining 91.5% of the decays proceed by an electron-capture transition to a 1770-keV level in Pd 108 . The radiations of 2.3-minute Ag 108 have been examined with scintillation and proportional counter spectrometers and with a coincidence spectrometer. The transitions and their abundances were found to be as follows: β- 1.77 Mev (97.3 percent); β- 1.15 Mev accompanied by γ of energy 0.62 Mev (0.8 percent); β+ (0.14 percent); and K capture to ground and 1 Decay Scheme Ag-108 disintegrates by electron capture (2.19 (14) %) and beta plus emission (0.283 (20) %) to excited states in Pd-108 and, by beta minus emission (97.53 (14) %) to excited states in Cd-108.
